Due to strong demand from retailer partners they are seeking to add an Product Specialist to the team.

Description

Ownership of the product Development Critical Path Management with Product Coordinator
Ensuring product critical paths and weekly workloads are on track to achieve deadlines
Working in conjunction with Sales and Design to prepare for customer meetings .
Order Critical Path Management · Monitoring Order Critical Path with Merch/Product Coordinator to ensure intake dates are met Product & Range Development
Reacting & completing Sales Team Briefs in the required time frame
Collaborating with design on products and packaging
Negotiating the best cost price to achieve department margin targets.
Establishing and maintaining good relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
Comp shopping & applying knowledge of the current competitive marketplace and trends and assisting into the direction of product development.
Attend Trade shows for inspiration and to source new product/ suppliers. Attending and assisting in kick off and category meetingsProfile

Currently in a Buying, Product Management, Product Developer role or similar
Experience working and developing own brand / white label product
Experience of working with import goods from Far East etc
Excellent written / communication skills
