About you:

Are you a Paediatric Dietitian experience in neonatal dietetics seeking a locum position in London? Look no further, Medacs Healthcare are seeking an experienced band 7 dietitian to support one of their prestigious NHS clients.

Job Summary:

To collaborate with existing roles and further develop the dietetic role within neonatal services, ensuring dietetic presence at both sites
To provide assessment, treatment and management for infants on the neonatal units and in follow-up clinics post discharge
To ensure timely and appropriate onward referrals
To work with the multidisciplinary team, providing teaching on specialist areas of knowledge both in informal and formal settings
To work alongside therapy colleagues and the wider MDT to support and promote the role of AHPs in neonates
To participate in service development, audit, QI initiatives particularly those that highlight the impact of a strong AHP workforce within neonatal services
To provide teaching for more junior dietetic and therapy staff
To collect and analyse data to evaluate the impact of the post and provide recommendations for future service planningEssential Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Dietitian with:

HCPC registration as a Dietitian
Inpatient neonatal level 3 experience
Paediatric general experience
Paediatric Outpatients - general clinicsDesirable Skills:

Neonatal surgical unit experience
