We are looking for two experienced Retails Butchers to join a brand-new, high-quality farm shop opening in Long Eaton. This position would suit someone who is looking for a temporary or permanent opportunity, both options are available.

As Retail Butcher, you will be responsible for:

Preparing and portioning boxed meat to spec
Cutting, trimming, wrapping and presenting products to a high standard
Supporting the counter with customer-facing service (no till work required)
Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
Supporting general prep and display throughout the day
Working confidently both front of house and in the back prep area

This role is ideal for a Butcher who is comfortable speaking with customers but also enjoys hands-on butchery work behind the scenes.

We’re looking for a Retail Butcher with:

Strong knife skills and experience working with boxed meat
Background in retail butchery, catering butchery, farm shops or similar
Good communication and confidence serving customers
High standards of hygiene, presentation, and product care
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently when needed
Able to start as soon as possible is a strong advantage
Shift Pattern

Full-time, 5 days per week on a rotating rota:

Week 1: Tuesday – Saturday
Week 2: Sunday – Thursday

Shift times: 7:00am – 3:00pm ( 30 minutes unpaid break)
