After School Tutor

Location: Lymm
Pay: £30 per hour (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Part-time, after school, long-term

Vision for Education is working with a local authority to appoint dedicated After School Tutors to deliver high-quality, one-to-one sessions to secondary pupils in the Lymm area. These sessions are designed to help students reach their academic goals.

Students access one hour per week, after school, face-to-face or online, depending on student needs. Flexibility and a student-focused approach are essential.

Subjects in Demand:

English
Maths
Science
Requirements:

A teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
A clear subject specialism in English, Maths or Science
Experience working with secondary-aged students and those with SEND
Strong planning and communication skills
A commitment to delivering regular, reliable tuition
Flexibility to deliver online or in-person sessions as needed
Organisation to submit clear and timely reports on engagement and attendance
