We are looking to recruit experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation of automated material handling and intralogistics systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role working on conveyor systems, automation equipment, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems across high-availability environments such as warehouses and distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities

* Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated conveyor and material handling systems

* Fault finding and breakdown response on mechanical and electrical equipment

* Working with motors, gearboxes, drives, sensors, and control panels

* Electrical fault diagnosis including PLC-controlled systems (training provided where needed)

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and corrective works

* Supporting system upgrades, improvements, and site projects

* Working safely in line with site and company H&S procedures

* Liaising with site teams, supervisors, and project engineers

What We’re Looking For

* Time-served Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (or equivalent experience)

* Experience in automation, conveyors, intralogistics, manufacturing, or material handling environments

* Strong fault-finding ability, either mechanical or electrical (multi-skilled advantageous)

* Experience with motors, drives, sensors, gearboxes, and control systems

* Willingness to work on customer sites and travel as required

* Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused mindset

Desirable

* PLC diagnostics or commissioning experience

* Previous work in , logistics, or automated warehouses

* HNC / HND / Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
