Graduate Electronics Design & Development Engineer

? Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:30 | Friday, 08:00-13:00
? Salary: £30,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Electronics Design & Development Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on innovative product development. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate with a background in electronics or electrical engineering who is eager to apply their skills in a practical, hands-on environment and grow within a supportive and dynamic team.

Role Overview

In this role, you will support the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and components, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production. You will assist in ensuring compliance with relevant standards, contribute to technical documentation, and play a key part in identifying and resolving issues across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the design and development of electronic products and circuits
Support testing, fault diagnosis, and product validation against specifications
Contribute to documentation and compliance (including CE/UKCA requirements)
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams
Participate in engineering change processes and provide ongoing technical support

Candidate Requirements

Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Solid understanding of electronic components and systems
Familiarity with programming in C, C++ or C#
Awareness of tools such as SolidWorks, Jira, Git, or Confluence (preferred)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, proactive approach
