Job Title: Assembly Team Leader

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assembly Team Leader to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with a strong background in assembly processes to step into a key role within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of assembly operatives to meet daily production targets

Monitor performance, ensure productivity levels are maintained, and quality standards are met

Allocate tasks and resources effectively to optimize workflow and reduce downtime

Provide training and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times

Report on team performance and production metrics as required

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing leadership role

Strong understanding of assembly processes, quality standards, and health & safety practices

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Hands-on approach with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
