A highly academic and values-driven primary school in West London is seeking a Learning Support Officer to join their KS2 team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school that blends academic excellence with a strong emphasis on character education and pastoral development.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of good subject knowledge and emotional insight, providing high-quality learning support to children who benefit from both academic guidance and pastoral support throughout the school day.

About the Role:

Working across KS2, with a focus on supporting children with varied learning needs
Providing targeted classroom support under teacher guidance
Leading or supporting small group instruction in literacy and numeracy
Offering informal pastoral support to pupils requiring additional encouragement or behavioural redirection
Supporting with lesson activities, transitions, and progress monitoringThe Ideal Candidate:

Confident in delivering academic support, particularly in core subjects
Calm, resilient, and attuned to the emotional needs of upper primary children
Able to work well within a structured environment and with multiple teachers
Experience in a primary school or tutoring/mentoring in KS2 is advantageous
