Lead the Way in Maths – Make an Impact Across KS2

Are you a passionate KS2 Teacher with a specialism in Mathematics? Do you have the skills and ambition to take on a leadership role in a dynamic school environment? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Lead to join our supportive primary school in Manchester from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to take on a TLR for the right candidate.

About the Role

As the Maths Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the teaching and learning of mathematics across Key Stage 2. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement the maths curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching, assessment, and pupil progress. You will also provide guidance and support to other teachers within the school, leading by example and fostering a collaborative approach to the teaching of mathematics.

You will still have a classroom responsibility teaching a KS2 class, ensuring that your passion for maths is communicated effectively and engagingly to your pupils.

We Are Looking For

A qualified teacher (QTS) with proven experience in KS2

A strong background in teaching Mathematics, with an ability to inspire and engage learners

Experience in or a clear commitment to taking on leadership responsibilities

A reflective and dynamic practitioner who thrives in a team environment

A commitment to driving improvement in maths teaching and learning across the school
