Key Responsibilities:
You’ll play a vital role in coordinating and managing sea freight import shipments. Your duties will include:

* Managing your own assigned ports and liaising with overseas agents

* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key logistics partners

* Handling FCL (Full Container Load), groupage, and co-load shipments

* Sending arrival notices and invoices to customers

* Ensuring correct costs are applied to each job/file for accurate billing

* Communicating with carriers and container freight stations (CFS) for cargo release, delivery, and unpacking

* Tracking estimated arrival times via shipping line websites

* Speaking confidently with customers by telephone to provide updates or resolve issues

* Collating and submitting clearance documentation to third-party clearance agents

* Ensuring accurate calculation and invoicing of duty and VAT

* Coordinating transport for final delivery in line with customer requirements

* Monitoring the full shipment lifecycle and updating internal systems with status milestones

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in sea freight import operations or deep sea freight administration

* Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation

* Solid understanding of FCL and LCL shipping processes

* Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and documentation

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* High attention to detail and accuracy in cost tracking and invoicing

* Confidence working with customers and overseas agents

* Familiarity with logistics software and shipping line tracking systems

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
