We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded SEN school, supporting students with severe learning difficulties and additional learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis, helping each student reach their full potential both academically and personally.

Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students aged 11+ with severe learning needs
Assist with classroom learning, engagement, and participation
Support students with personal care where required
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored learning plans
Promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing throughout the school day

Teaching Assistant – Requirements
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred
Previous experience working with SEN / additional learning needs highly desirable
Calm, patient, and compassionate nature
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to use initiative and follow direction from the class teacher
