Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
A highly respected, independent acoustics consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Acoustic Consultant to their growing technical team in the Northampton area. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you’ll be given the trust and freedom to run projects from start to finish. Key responsibilities include:
Leading acoustic assessments and managing end-to-end project delivery
Conducting noise surveys, vibration assessments, and sound insulation testing
Producing clear, detailed technical reports for clients, architects, and planning consultants
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Taking part in business development activities if desiredYou’ll be joining a close-knit team where your input will be valued, and your growth genuinely supported.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Around 3–5 years’ experience in environmental or building acoustics consultancy
A relevant degree in Acoustics or a closely related field
IOA membership or active progress toward it
Strong communication and client-facing skills
