Our client a specialist provider of children’s residential social care in the Surrey area are currently seeking a dedicated, experienced Registered Manager to lead one of their Ofsted registered homes.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and shape a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.

Your role:-

* Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children and implementing care plans.

* Working closely with external stakeholders and promote a positive and nurturing environment for the children.

* Lead a passionate care team

* Ensure high standards of care and compliance.

* Drive positive outcomes for children and young people you support.

About You:-

* Two years of experience in managing or working in a children's residential care home as a Deputy or Registered Manager is essential.

* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection laws

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

* Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic interventions

* Excellent organizational and decision-making skills

* Relevant qualification in social work, child care, or a related field

* Evidenced ability to build relationships with children who have not experienced stable relationships in the past

* Provide good leadership to the staff team, and work with them to overcome the difficulties they may face in helping children to thrive and stay safe

* Use their skills in multi-disciplinary working to coordinate the completion and delivery of a child’s care plan

* Challenge the contribution of colleagues to get children the help that they need, or to further promote children’s aspirations
