Position: RE / Religious Studies Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

Are you a passionate RE / Religious Studies Teacher with a deep interest in worldviews, beliefs, and values? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hull is looking to appoint a thoughtful and engaging Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities team in September 2025.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Delivering RE lessons that encourage critical thinking, reflection, and open discussion
Exploring a range of religious and non-religious worldviews in line with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
Fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
Creating engaging resources that challenge stereotypes and promote ethical inquiry
Working with colleagues to promote cross-curricular values and spiritual developmentWe're Looking for Someone Who:

Holds QTS/QTLS or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Studies (or related field)
Has experience teaching RE across Key Stage 3 and 4
Is committed to encouraging respectful dialogue and understanding among students
Possesses excellent communication skills and a calm, reflective teaching style
