We’re hiring for an experienced Quality Manager to join an engineering company based in Stockport who boast an attractive reputation and extremely exciting future.
Producing high quality jigs and fixtures for a diverse range of industries, this is a business that provides an excellent variety of work for their employees along with a supportive working environment.

What will you be doing as a Quality Manager?
* Working within a established team of QIs
* Setting targets for the team
* Inspecting machine parts and assemblies to meet drawings and customer specifications
* Maintaining the QMS
* Servicing and calibrating inspection equipment (including laser trackers and CMMs)
* Providing operator training to recognised standards
* Working collaboratively with production, estimating, and sales teams
* Advising on capital investments to implement the latest technologies
* Actioning NCRs using 8D problem-solving methods
What do you need?
* A trained internal auditing certification or relevant experience
* Previous experience leading/managing a quality function
* Previous time served as a machinist or toolmaker (desirable)
* Leica or Faro experience (desirable)
* Lean and six sigma experience (desirable)
* Previous experience working within a precision engineering environment (desirable)
