Ocean Export Coordinator — Bristol

We’re proud to be partnering with a highly respected, long-established client within the logistics sector who are now looking for an experienced Ocean Export Coordinator to join their Bristol-based team.

In this key role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth coordination of international ocean freight shipments, working closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to deliver outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage full-cycle ocean export shipments, from booking to delivery

* Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure timely movements

* Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance paperwork

* Maintain strong customer relationships, providing regular updates and problem-solving where required

* Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies

* Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless service

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience in ocean export / international freight forwarding

* Strong understanding of export documentation and global shipping procedures

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

* Knowledge of customs regulations is advantageous

* IT literate with good working knowledge of freight systems
