Do you have a passion for helping young people achieve their potential? We’re looking for an empathetic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Harrow. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), supporting them in developing confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

Working closely with teachers, you’ll provide tailored support to students across Key Stages 3–5, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in a positive and inclusive learning environment. Each day will bring new challenges and triumphs — from one-to-one support to small group interventions — as you help students overcome barriers and celebrate their progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with a range of learning and behavioural needs in class

• Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement learning plans

• Encourage confidence, resilience, and engagement in learning activities

• Provide emotional and academic support to help students reach their goals

Ideal Candidate:

• Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting young people

• Previous experience working with SEN pupils (desirable but not essential)

• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

• A genuine passion for education and personal development

What’s On Offer:

• A supportive and friendly school community

• Valuable classroom experience across multiple key stages

• Opportunities for professional growth and potential teacher training pathways

• The chance to make a real difference in students’ lives every day

If you’re ready to start or grow your career in education, apply today and help shape brighter futures in Harrow!
