The School and Role

A primary school in Gateshead (NE10 area) is looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. The KS2 Teaching Assistant appointed will be working in the Year 3 class at school to provide a mixture of general support, as well as interventions. This school has recently been rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted, and is praised for creating an inclusive learning environment. The school is close to both metro and bus links.

Requirements

The desired KS2 Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
