We’re partnering with an ambitious and fast-growing organisation currently sitting at £8m turnover, and about to undergo a significant merger that will see group revenue scale to circa £90m. As the business enters this next phase of growth, they are seeking a commercially driven Management Accountant with strong, hands-on industry experience to help shape the financial reporting framework, drive insight and support strategic decision-making.

This is a genuine opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage, where the right person can influence how the finance function evolves and position themselves for rapid progression.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in developing and embedding scalable financial processes, improving reporting capability, and providing commercial analysis that drives margin, cost control and operational performance.

You will be trusted to take ownership of reporting, forecasting and financial insight across multiple sites, working closely with operational and commercial leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts and board pack commentary.

* Consolidation and interpretation of financial and operational data across multiple divisions and locations.

* Weekly & monthly forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking.

* Margin, cost and profitability analysis to support strategic decision making.

* Supporting pricing models, commercial tenders and business cases.

* Working closely with operational leaders to translate financials into actionable outcomes.

* Identifying and implementing process improvements to support scale and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being in the detail but is also confident stepping back to provide insight and challenge stakeholders across the business.

* Industry experience in manufacturing, production, engineering or similar.

* QBE, Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified CIMA / ACCA.

* Strong management accounting and financial analysis skillset.

* Proven experience working with large, multi-source data sets.

* Advanced Excel and confident systems capability.

* Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to influence key stakeholders.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving SME-to-group scale environment.

* Willingness to travel to sites as required.
