GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a specialist high-street legal firm located in Gloucester. We are supporting their recruitment for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to provide much needed support to the busy office.

Our client is one of Gloucestershire’s most recognised and highly regarded Legal Firms that offers a full range of legal services for both individuals and businesses.

This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary up to £30K pending relevant experience. To be considered for this position you MUST demonstrate 1-2 years in a similar paralegal role, with experience in private client matters. This position has the opportunity to develop into a Fee Earner position given experience.

Paralegal main duties:

* Drafting and advising on Wills and LPAs.

* Managing probate matters, including obtaining grants of probate and administering estates.

* Advising clients on estate planning to ensure the efficient transfer of wealth and assets.

* Handling complex estate planning cases involving trusts and related legal matters.

* Assisting clients with contested probate cases, providing expert advice and representation where disputes arise.

* Providing compassionate and professional advice to clients during emotionally challenging times.

* Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and contact, offering tailored advice and solutions.

* Help drive the department forward.

Paralegal required skills and experience:

* Experience in all aspects of private client work

* Confident telephone manner handling telephone enquiries from clients and third parties

* Be proficient with Outlook, Word and preferably Excel

* Be able to prioritise workloads and have experience of managing your own cases

* Be able to communicate with clients efficiently and effectively

It is preferred you have gained or are studying towards a legal qualification.
