A dynamic, London-based construction consultancy is seeking a talented Project Manager to support the delivery of high-profile commercial, retail, and leisure projects across the capital. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Project Manager to join a collaborative and well-established consultancy with a strong pipeline of prestigious work.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for leading projects from inception through to completion, managing internal teams and client relationships, and ensuring delivery is consistently aligned with client expectations. This role would suit a confident Project Manager with consultancy experience who thrives in multi-stakeholder environments and enjoys both the technical and interpersonal aspects of the role.
The Project Manager's role
The appointed Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of multiple projects, manage design teams, and administer contracts across various schemes. You will work closely with clients, providing strategic advice and upward reporting, while ensuring project documentation and delivery processes are effectively maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading on project delivery and internal team coordination
Client liaison and relationship management at an executive level
Contract administration and stakeholder communication
Supporting value management and engineering activities
Mentoring junior team members and ensuring delivery standards
The Project Manager
Ideally the Project Manager will have:
Experience in project management within the construction consultancy sector
A construction-related degree (e.g. Construction Management)
Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB) or actively working towards it
Strong knowledge of pre- and post-contract project phases
Experience across commercial, retail, or leisure sectors
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead project teams
Contract administration experience within a consultancy or client-side environment
