Service Manager – North West (Manchester Based)

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus Scheme + Bonuses

Location: Manchester (Covering the North West Region)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview:

- Are you an experienced Service Engineer or Manager with a strong background in compressed air or similar industrial systems?

- We're working with a leading engineering service provider in the North West who is seeking a hands-on Service Manager to lead their regional service operations while still playing an active role on the tools.

The Role:

- This is a dynamic and rewarding position combining both leadership and field service work.

- As Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for supervising a team of service engineers while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

- The role is based in the Manchester area with regular travel around the North West.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and support a team of service engineers across the region

- Provide hands-on technical support and attend customer sites as needed

- Manage service schedules, resource allocation, and customer expectations

- Conduct site visits, fault finding, maintenance, and repairs

- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance

- Deliver training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members

- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Previous experience in a field service or service management role

- Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems or similar equipment

- Good leadership, organisational and communication skills

- Full UK driving licence

- Willingness to remain hands-on and lead by example on customer sites
