Payroll Manager
Brierley Hill - Office Based
£18-£19 per hour (30-hour week) - Part-Time
£30,000-£35,000 per annum - Full-Time (with additional responsibilities)

The main duties will be:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Payroll Administrator to take full ownership of a busy and varied payroll portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sage 50 Payroll, strong knowledge of payroll legislation, pension management, and ideally, experience with CIS submissions. You will have an understanding of a bureau payroll.
The main duties will be:
Managing and processing:
11 weekly and 3 four-weekly payrolls
45 monthly payrolls (35 without CIS, 10 with CIS)
101 director-only monthly payrolls (and growing)
Manual entry of timesheets/clock cards for hourly paid staff - with scope to implement automation
Submitting monthly CIS returns (12)
Administering payroll for schemes ranging up to 30-35 employees (starters and leavers included)
Managing and integrating workplace pension schemes via portals (NEST, NOW, and People's Pension - approx. 40 schemes total)
Ensuring compliance with HMRC and pension regulations
Liaising with clients to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
Proficient in Sage 50 Payroll
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation
Experience with auto-enrolment pensions and pension provider portals
CIS filing experience is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and manage a large portfolio
Excellent attention to detail and time management skillsHours:
Part-Time: 30 hours per week (flexible scheduling within standard office hours)
Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week (if expanded to include invoicing/credit control)
