We’re a rapidly expanding business in an exciting, up-and-coming industry, and we are on the hunt for excellent people with a passion for exceeding customer expectations to join our scheduling team, working closely with the Customer Journey Manager & the Head of Field Services.
Role description
* The Scheduling Manager will manage our team of installation schedulers to maximise efficiencies and drive installation numbers, whilst maintaining customer service levels.
* Balance engineer workload across regions, ensuring fair distribution and responsiveness to real-time changes (e.g., sickness, delays, high-priority jobs).
* Monitor and drive adherence to KPIs and SLAs, suggesting and implementing corrective actions where required.
* Producing and analysing daily, weekly & monthly reports for the senior management team.
* Managing a small subcontractor network in limited areas.
* Manage recruitment, training, and performance reviews for schedulers.
* Reacting in a timely fashion to inbound customer questions including sensitively handling complaints if they arise.
* Work with internal stakeholders to improve scheduling processes.
* Ensure all communication and updates are accurately recorded in order to drive efficiency and improve engineer utilization.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of UK geography and regional logistics.
* Proven experience in scheduling, workforce planning, or operational logistics (preferably in utilities, EV, or construction).
* Previous telephone-based customer based experience in a scheduling role is desirable
* People management experience, with a track record of coaching and team development would be highly desirable.
* Customer-first mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong IT skills: confident with Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and CRM platforms
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities; able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
* Comfortable analysing data and reporting key insights to senior stakeholders.
* Problem-solving mindset with initiative and attention to detail.
Salary/Hourly Rate
Dependent on experience.
