My client is a professional Civil Engineering contractor that specialises in New and Retrofit Basement Substructures, Structural Frames and piled foundations for new build.
 
Continued success has enabled the company to offer unrivalled career and development opportunities in specific disciplines. They now wish to employ a Senior Contracts Engineer to operate throughout London and the Home Counties.
 
Their preference is for a Qualified Engineer who is either chartered or is approaching chartered status. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in foundation design, reinforced concrete, and temporary works. A commercial understanding of contractual matters, budgetary and cost control and the supervision of works on site is a distinct advantage. The role is very much client facing and responsibilities will include servicing incoming enquiries, assisting with the estimating process, checking and submission of Tenders and playing a major role in the securing of new business. Thereafter liaising with the Contracts Director in the planning and supervision of works from point of order to completion, monitoring the achievement of production targets, liaison with clients, the supervision of works and personnel on site and assisting in the preparation and submission of interim and final accounts.
