Hours: 40 per week
Shift Pattern: Tuesday – Saturday, 13:00 – 21:30
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role

Thrive Personnel are delighted to be working with our client in the parcel sorting industry, who are looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse / De-Brief Supervisor to join their team in York (YO30).

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily parcel sorting operations, ensuring productivity and accuracy targets are met.

*

Manage the de-brief process, checking driver documentation, reporting discrepancies, and resolving issues.

*

Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives and drivers.

*

Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.

*

Handle shift handovers, reporting, and system updates.

*

Liaise with management to ensure service levels and client expectations are consistently achieved.

Requirements

*

Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics, or transport environment.

*

Strong communication and leadership skills.

*

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operation.

*

Good IT and reporting skills.

*

Flexible and proactive approach to problem solving.
