The Role:

Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the site’s production team by ensuring maximum plant uptime through:

* Planned preventative and corrective maintenance

* Fault finding and repair of equipment

* Involvement in plant modifications and installations

* Continuous improvement initiatives

* Participation in an on-call rota

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and assess plant performance, reporting issues proactively

* Carry out routine and emergency maintenance tasks

* Support project work from planning through to commissioning

* Maintain and inspect tools and equipment to high standards

* Ensure health, safety, and environmental procedures are always adhered to

Requirements:

* Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

* Ideally HNC/HND qualification (mechanical bias)

* Certification in welding (3268 or equivalent)

* Competence in pneumatic and hydraulic systems

* Solid experience working with conveyor systems, feeders, process control, and fabrication

* Strong fault-finding skills

* Health & Safety awareness and compliance

* Flexibility and ability to work as part of a small team

* You will need your own transport due to the location of the job
