Marketing Executive
Abingdon - £30,000-£35,000 (FTE)

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our client. They are a worldwide, mechanical engineering company with their UK facility based in Abingdon.  This a great family-owned company, they value and look after their employees, believing in promoting from within.  People stay with this company long term and the opportunity to join this team doesn’t come up very often.

This role was created to work closely with the Marketing team at Head Office in Germany and the Managing Director in Abingdon, with the aim of supporting all areas of marketing and communication and localising marketing strategies.

The ideal Marketing Executive would be confident in taking initiative, asking questions to learn and gain information from others within the company to be able to produce accurate content. 

Full time or part time role (minimum 30 hours) with a salary of £30,000-£35,000 (pro rata if part time) dependant on experience.  After probation there is the option to work from home, 1 day per week. A full 3-day induction is provided, including time in the warehouse to understand the processes, and also a trip to their Head Office in Europe to get to know the wider team.
 
Marketing Executive duties to include (full job description can be provided)

Create and manage marketing communications to increase brand awareness across the UK and Ireland. Working with the Marketing team based at Head Office.  To include surveys, campaigns, e-shots and proofreading of texts.
Manage and grow social media presence for the company to include Youtube and LinkedIn.
Organise, support and attend, industry events/conferences/trade shows/exhibitions and company events as required
Report on website analytics to monitor and improve campaign effectiveness
Update CRM system with correct sales contacts, working with the external sales team
Assist in preparation and adhering to marketing budgets
Other marketing administrative tasks.Experience required for this Marketing Executive role

3 years marketing experience minimum, B2B or B2C e-business solutions, preferably in a mechanical industry, but not essential
The ability to interpret and relay manufacturing and engineering terminology into marketing material.
Experience of organising exhibitions and events
Ideally knowledge of First Spirit, Contentserv, Hubspot, Google analytics, Powerpoint/Sharepoint, SEM, SEA and SEO etc
