Machine Operator
Location: Derbyshire
Shifts: Mornings and Afternoons rotating
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator / Labourer to join our team at a busy engineering company. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.

Join a leading precision engineering manufacturer with over 90 years of success supplying high-quality ground maintenance equipment and bespoke engineering solutions. Our client specialises in CNC Turning, Milling, Cylindrical Grinding, and Inspection, serving sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Marine, Medical, and Rail.

Key Responsibilities for the machine operative role:

* Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner

* CNC machining experience desirable

* Able to use measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometres, callipers and height gauges

* General labouring duties to support production

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

* Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role (engineering/manufacturing preferred)

* Ability to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

* Reliable, punctual, and a good team player

Shift and rate for the machine operative role:

* Rotating Mornings and Afternoon shift

* £14.50ph
