ELECTRICIAN - TEST & INSPECTION (INC. PAT TEST).

We have a short term assignment in Tilbury and require an Experienced Electrician with 2391 for some weekend testing work to include:

• Testing and tagging of equipment, including PAT Testing, specifically for the clients tools and electrical equipment brought to site (e.g. hand tools, drills, etc.). All must be tested and labelled in line with legal standards.
• Isolating and disconnecting power supply - 2391 Inspect & Test certification (or equivalent) is ideal. Electrician must be qualified to safely isolate power sources where needed (e.g. for safely connecting or testing plug-and-play devices such as control boxes and conveyors).
• Electrical equipment being tested - This includes the AFEX fire suppression system's electrical components, primarily:
o Power supplies and cabling to the control boxes
o Connection and safe verification of heat detectors and actuation triggers
o Any interfacing with the PLC panel, if applicable.
• PAT testing of tools - Electrician should be capable of performing these checks and documenting them with dated, signed PAT stickers.
