Overview
We seek a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee our logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and administrative skills, ensuring efficient management of transport resources while maintaining high service standards. This role requires effective communication and team management abilities to lead a diverse team and optimize our transport processes.

Responsibilities

* Team Leadership – Manage and support a team of drivers and office staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

* Operational Oversight – Coordinate driver schedules, route planning, and fleet management to maximise efficiency and service delivery.

* Compliance & Regulation – Ensure adherence to all transport regulations, including driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards.

* Customer Service & Client Relations – Maintain excellent communication with clients, handling inquiries, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

* Administrative Management – Oversee office procedures, reporting, and performance tracking to improve business efficiency.

* Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Handle operational challenges swiftly to minimise disruptions and maintain service standards.

Qualifications

✔ Experience in the transport/logistics industry is essential
✔ Proven leadership experience managing drivers and office personnel
✔ Strong knowledge of transport compliance, regulations, and fleet management
✔ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
✔ Strong IT skills (TMS, Microsoft Office, scheduling software)
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Depending on experience
