Multi Skilled Engineer – Peterborough – £52,000 PA
  
Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer working within a manufacturing environment to oversee all reactive and planned maintenance? If so this job could be perfect for you. Working with an experienced team of engineers and technicians you will be supporting the production site to keep their machines running whilst supporting efficient and safe operations across the manufacturing site.  

Multi Skilled Engineer’s Key Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance of factory equipment (both mechanical and electrical) in line with the routine maintenance schedule
Contribute to PPM projects across the site
Install and commission new equipment, working alongside the service manager to ensure machine downtime to kept to a minimum
Perform equipment repairs as needed
Support and assist external contractors while on site.   
Skills & Experience Required as a Multi Skilled Engineer:

Must have experience working within a manufacturing site as a maintenance engineer, breakdown engineer or PPM engineer
Need to have the ability to fault find on PLCs and perform basic electrical repairs
Ability to work as part of a larger engineering team to support and develop other more junior engineers on ad hoc basis
Must have the full right to work in the UK
Ability to work on a rotating shift pattern to involve both night and day shifts   
This position is a full time permanent role based in Peterborough paying a base of £52,000 PA on a shift pattern of 3’s and 2’s – mixture between days and nights.
