What We Offer:

Salary of £12.31 per hour.
Work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Temporary, on going

Key Responsibilities:

Making new and review outpatient appointments, ensuring adherence to NHS referral and waiting time guidelines and managing outpatient waiting lists.
Processing referrals for diagnostic and specialist procedures, adding them to hospital IT systems, and handling centralized booking requests, often in a rotational capacity across different services.
Managing first appointment bookings for designated services, registering referrals on patient administration systems promptly, and forwarding referral letters to relevant services within agreed timeframes.
Monitoring waiting lists to ensure patients are booked according to access policies, escalating potential breaches, and liaising with clinical staff to arrange urgent appointments as needed.

Qualifications:

4 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English Language, plus 1 year of experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
