I am seeking an experienced Demand Manager to join a growing engineering organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of demand and supply processes, develop best practices, and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence.

Job Description

Act as the main customer contact for orderbook demands, maintaining accurate sales orderbook data and supporting the SIOP process with reliable future demand signals.
Utilise exception reports, prevent orderbook erosion, identify stock risks, and produce KPI suites covering Sales and Arrears trends (daily, weekly, monthly).
Work with Manufacturing Managers to identify and resolve delivery issues early, implement containment actions, and keep customers informed.
Lead supplier relationship management, drive supply chain performance improvements, manage sourcing activities, and support risk assessments.
Train and coach internal stakeholders on SIOP and ERP adherence, develop purchasing processes, and foster a high-performance, compliance-driven culture.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Proven experience in Demand Management or Supply Chain roles
Strong background in ERP systems and SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) processes
Experience in supplier relationship management and operational performance improvement
Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing organisation
