Supply Desk is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Bushey this September. This is a full-time teaching position, ideal for an individual with a strong commitment to promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development among young people.

Job Description:

Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a variety of sports and physical activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all students to participate and achieve their best.
Plan, assess, and report on student progress in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
Organise and support extra-curricular clubs, school fixtures, and inter-house competitions.
Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing as part of a whole-school approach to student development.
Work collaboratively with the PE department and wider school staff to share best practices and resources.
Maintain high standards of discipline and behaviour, using positive reinforcement strategies.
Contribute to the life of the school through participation in meetings, events, and ongoing professional development.

Our ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT (Early Career Teacher) with a PE specialism.
Have a passion for physical education and inspiring young people to reach their full potential.
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons for different abilities.
Be organised, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting the school’s ethos and values.
Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students of all levels.
Be committed to safeguarding and the welfare of all students.
Hold or be willing to obtain a clear Enhanced DBS check.
