We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to help lead our cleaning/portering team at Didcot Community Hospital. You role will support the day-to-day delivery of high-quality cleaning and catering services, making sure our hospital remains a safe, clean, and welcoming place for patients, visitors, and staff.
This is a hands-on role where you will work alongside the team, leading by example and supporting staff to meet NHS cleaning standards and infection control requirements. The role is full time (37.5 hours per week) and will involve shift work (7am – 3pm and 11am-7pm), alternative weekends and bank holidays over a rolling rota, which will be paid at an enhanced rate.
Main duties of the job
* Support line manager with rotas and cleaning schedules
* Ensure that staffing levels are maintained to adequately meet the service requirements; to highlight any issues immediately to line manager
* Managing stock levels for cleaning consumables, linen and food stock
levels and highlighting shortages to line manager to order
