Field Service Engineer

Location: Shrewsbury

Salary: £45,000 to £48,000 (plus Overtime)

An opportunity has opened for a Field Service Engineer to join an engineering company based in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have excellent hands on engineering skills with experience of repairing, servicing and installing machinery.

The role involves travel to other sites but most are local to Shrewsbury and you will be provided with a van.

Field Service Engineer Key Skills:

* Background as an Electrical Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar

* Electrical Engineering experience

* Maintenance, servicing and repairs experience

* Any installation experience would be a bonus

* Troubleshooting / fault finding experience

* Mechanical experience

* Full UK Driving License

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

* Providing maintenance on installed systems and inspecting

* Servicing and providing emergency breakdown support

* Fault find and upgrading of machinery

* Installing new electrical and mechanical systems

* Documenting any changes and repairs made

* Customer support if there are any problems to installed machinery and systems

* Travel to customer sites local to Shrewsbury and very occasional travel further in the UK
