Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Shirebrook

Contract Type: Temp -Perm after 12 weeks

Salary: £14- £14.50 (depending on experience)

Shift : Mon- Thurs 7.30am-4pm ,Friday 7.30am- 3pm

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter , there leading provider of wagon design and manufacture services for the UK rail freight industry. With roots firmly established in the rail sector for well over a century, we continue to set an ever-increasing standard, advancing the capabilities of our customers through leading expertise, innovation and exceptional engineering.

With a strong warranty and after care team, we can support our customers during the introduction of new fleets across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Immediately respond to and assist in the correction of plant breakdowns

Responsible for the repair of plant machinery and the maintenance of plant facilities, tooling and equipment

Identify and bring to the attention of Site Management, opportunities for improving the reliability, efficiency and performance of site equipment.

Provide technical support to site personnel.

Comply with all Company policies related to Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety and Community

Required Skills & Experience:

experience in spray painting

Ability to work at height

Strong team player

Mechanical, welding and fabrication skills
