3.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVERS WANTED

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 3.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Bristol.

You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries and route plans are put together for your daily, along with you vehicle been loaded with the products.

The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The duties of the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:

* Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role

* Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time

* Installing a range of various products for our customers

* Making every customer encounter memorable. Yes, you will need to love driving and being on the road, but you will need to love helping customers too.

* Following a delivery route

* Pre calling customers before arrival

* Filling in paperwork as and when required

* Removing all packaging from each delivery

The ideal 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:

* Experience within a similar role (preferred)

* New passes are accepted

* No more than six penalty points on driving licence

* A passion for delivering great customer service

* The ability to handle heavy goods

* A clean DBS

The hours of work for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 7.00am – 6.15pm, if the deliveries are completed early, you will finish early.

The salary for the 3.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £13.17 per hour / £30,817 per annum depending on the hours worked
