Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrator to join a busy and supportive team based in Darlington. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative and communication skills, looking for a role with consistent weekday hours. The position is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling incoming customer queries via phone and email
Obtaining and processing Purchase Order (PO) numbers
Scanning and accurately filing documentation
Investigating and resolving customer issues efficiently
Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintaining accurate records and updating systems
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or admin-based role
Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Benefits:
£12.21 per hour, paid weekly on a Friday
4 days per week between Monday & Friday (Flexible)
