The Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the pre-construction team. This is a critical role within the business, supporting the bid and tendering process for new and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for new build and refurbishment projects.

Evaluate tender documents, specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities.

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.

Work closely with the Pre-Construction and Commercial teams to deliver winning bids.

Attend site visits and client meetings as necessary.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator with a Main Contractor.

Strong knowledge of the Education and/or Residential construction sectors.

Track record of pricing projects up to £30m.

Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with estimating software is desirable.
