Learning Support Assistant - Tonbridge and Malling, Kent

If so, we're looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA).

The Role:

Where you'll work: Tonbridge and Malling area. Good local bus routes and on-site parking

Your hours: 21 hours (or more)

Pay: £14/hr - £16/hr

In this rewarding role, you'll provide academic and pastoral support to students with Education, Health, Care Plans (EHCPs) or identified Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). You'll be supporting learners working towards qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3, including Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths in classroom, practical and workshop settings. In your role in delivering targeted out of class interventions, you will support these learners through their studies, providing welfare and personal care assistance (if required). You will work as part of a proactive and dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for our students.

To be successful in this role you will have;

Experience working with students over the age of 16.
Experience working alongside students with SEMH or SEND.
C grade (or equivalent) in English and Maths at GCSE level.
