We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic specialist provision school catering to pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD, PMLD, SLD, and challenging behaviour.
About the Role:
You will work closely with class teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide high-quality care, learning support, and encouragement to pupils . Your role will involve:

Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
*
Assisting with personal care and implementing care plans as needed
*
Supporting communication and sensory-based learning approaches
*
Helping maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly complex needs
*
Calm, patient, and resilient nature
*
Team player with excellent communication skills
*
Knowledge of Makaton, PECs, or sensory integration approaches (desirable but not essential)
*
A willingness to learn and adapt – full training will be provided
