We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Mechanic/ MOT Tester to join our client’s busy and lively garage in Portsmouth.

You’ll be performing a wide range of tasks related to general vehicle maintenance and repair, so a strong understanding of different vehicle systems is important!

If you’re a Tester, you will be responsible for conducting compulsory vehicle safety and emissions tests (MOTs) on an array of vehicles, according to DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, identifying any faults, and undertaking necessary repairs to ensure the vehicles meet legal standards.

Requirements:

* Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (desirable)

* Full UK Drivers licence

* Hands-on experience working in a garage

* Excellent organisational and time management skills

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays)

8.30am-5.30pm

£30k-£35k DOE
