Production Operative

Newport (NP11)
£13.30 per hour + 20% shift premium (once on rotating shifts)
Temp to Perm | Immediate Start

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Newport. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, offering long-term opportunity and progression.

Shift Pattern:

Training Period:
Mon-Thurs 11:30am-10:00pm

After Training (Rotating):

Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm

Mon-Thurs 11:30am-10:00pm
20% shift premium applies once on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities:

Operating and setting up production machinery

Ensuring products meet quality standards

Supporting production targets

Basic machine maintenance

Maintaining high housekeeping standards

Following Health & Safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

Previous production/manufacturing experience preferred (not essential)

Comfortable working with machinery

Reliable with good attendance

Able to undertake manual handling and stand for long periods

Please Note:
Due to the location and shift times, candidates must hold a valid driving licence and live within 30 minutes of Newport. Public transport is not a reliable option for these shifts.
