Location: Chelmsford, Essex Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate or upon graduation

Kickstart your career in geotechnical engineering with a leading ground investigation contractor based in Chelmsford. We’re looking for a driven graduate to join our field team and support exciting infrastructure projects across the region and beyond.

?️ What You’ll Be Doing

Assist with trail pitting, borehole supervision, and in-situ testing

*

Log soil and rock samples and contribute to factual reporting

*

Support monitoring of slopes, gas, and groundwater regimes

*

Help manage and maintain site data and databases

*

Work on live infrastructure sites across Essex and the UK

? What We’re Looking For

*

A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

*

Strong interest in site work and ground investigation techniques

*

Willingness to travel and work away from home when required

*

A full, clean UK driving licence

*

Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn
