Flexible Cover Supervisor

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work on a flexible basis in a range of secondary schools across the Wellingborough and Rushden areas.

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education staff looking for flexible work that fits around other commitments.

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff

Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students stay on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Provide a safe, positive, and productive learning environment

Gain valuable classroom experience in local secondary schools

The Ideal Candidate:

Confident managing groups of secondary-aged students

Strong communication and organisational skills

A positive, adaptable, and professional attitude

Previous experience working with young people is desirable (but not essential)

An interest in education or a pathway into teaching is highly beneficial
