Teaching Assistant - KS1

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone with a passion for supporting young learners?

Do you enjoy helping children build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and confidence?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bolton, seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher in a KS1 classroom

Working with small groups and individuals to support phonics, reading, and maths

Assisting with classroom routines and behaviour management

Helping to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment

Supporting pupils' social and emotional development

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with primary-aged children (school or childcare setting)

A calm, patient, and encouraging approach

Confident supporting early learning and phonics

Able to work effectively as part of a team

Available for a long-term role
