ARE YOU A CORESHOP OPERATIVE WITH A BACKGROUND IN A FOUNDRY ENVIRONMENT?

FOUNDRY CORE SHOP OPERATIVE required for a specialist manufacturer who are well established in their industry. They are renowned for producing high quality products for a wide range of sectors.

The role would operatives from a foundry, castings or metallurgical background. Applicants will ideally have experience working in a ductile iron or steel environment. You will ideally have experience of core-making methods. This is a physically demanding role, it requires a lot of manual handling and you will be lifting up to 25kg in weight.

Reporting to the Works Manager, you will be responsible for producing cores which are used in the manufacturing of high quality ductile iron and steel castings for turbo/manifold and general engineering sectors.

This is a great opportunity to work within a varied role within a company who supply their products to world class manufacturers.

*Will ideally transfer from a foundry or metallurgy background

*Will ideally have previous core-making experience

*Must be able to work to workflow and production drawings
