Facilities Technician (Refrigeration)
Location: Market Drayton
Salary: £45,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Technician to support the daily maintenance, repair, and safe operation of refrigeration systems across a busy manufacturing site. This includes reactive breakdown response and scheduled preventative maintenance of FGAS systems, with support for other site utilities and infrastructure as required.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration systems (Freon, CO2, Ammonia)

*

Performing and recording daily checks and PPMs via CMMS (e.g. HolisTech)

*

Supporting and supervising contractors, ensuring H&S compliance

*

Attending and resolving breakdowns swiftly to minimise disruption

*

Completing building fabric and utility-related repairs when needed

*

Supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives

*

Participating in an out-of-hours support rota

Requirements:

*

Category 1 FGAS certification and refrigeration experience (Freon essential, Ammonia/CO2 preferred)

*

Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration and ideally Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

*

Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems

*

Familiarity with inverters, control panels, and PLCs (preferred)

*

Confident working in fast-paced, high-demand industrial environments
